Shepherd's Pie

Zutaten:

500g Rinds- oder Lammfaschiertes
100g Sellerie
250g Karotten
150g Erbsen
1 Zwiebel
500ml Rindsuppe
1EL Tomatenmark
4EL Worcestershiresauce
Salz, Pfeffer, Rosmarin
Saucenbinder

1 Blumenkohl
Salz, Muskatnuss
Cheddarkäse

Zubereitung:

Zwiebel, Sellerie, Karotte in kleine Würfel schneiden.

Ireland is one of my most favorite countries in the world! Two years ago I cross out one point on my bucket list and traveled across Ireland with my boyfried - it was certainly one of the best times of my life so fare! I would do it again right away :)
On this holiday we have also eaten Shepherd's Pie. To bring back a little Ireland fever I made a low carb shepherd's pie. This is a super practical dish, I completely prepared it the night before and put it in the oven the next day on which i war very busy.

Ingredients:

500g beef or lamb minced meat
100g of celery
250g carrots
150g peas
1 onion
500ml beef stock
1EL tomato paste
4EL Worcestershiresauce
Salt, pepper, rosemary
sauce thickener

1 cauliflower
Salt, nutmeg
Cheddar cheese

Preparation:

Cut the onion, celery, carrot into small cubes. Fry it in pan, add 1 tbsp of tomato paste and the meat. Add the beef stock and simmer about 10 minutes (until the celery and the carrot are soft). Season with salt, pepper, Worcestershiresauce and rosemary thicken with sauce thickener.
Boil the cauliflower and mash until it becomes puree. Season with salt and nutmeg.
Put the meat into a casserole, spread the cauliflower puree, that everything is covered.
Bake in the oven for 20 minutes at 180 °. If you like you can cover with Cheddar before putting it into the oven (unfortunately I had none at home;) but I'll definitely add Cheddar next time!)
